All students have the opportunity to be involved in private music lessons through the fine facilities and instructors of the West Gate Christian Preparatory School.

Vocal Instruction
Students will learn basic vocal skills, sound production, and proper vocal care. Incidental instruction in basic music theory and concepts of reading music is included.

Instrumental Instruction
Students have the opportunity to learn various instruments along with basic music theory and concepts of reading music. Instruction is available on a number of instruments (see below).

Keyboard instruments
Brass instruments
Woodwind instruments
String instruments

Recitals
All students will participate in a recital during the school ye. Recitals provide an excellent opportunity for students to develop confidence and strive for mastery.

Scheduling
Students will receive one half-hour lesson each week. Your child’s instructor will contact you directly to arrange a lesson time.
